Location

The Good Crocodile Foundation and Lafaek Diak Clinic's services are found in the Baduho-o sub-village, in the village of Triloka, in the sub-district of Baucau, in the district of Baucau, within the country of Timor-Leste (East Timor). 

Primary Clinic and Administration Location

Most often, international visitors to Timor-Leste will arrive by airplane into the Dili International Airport. From Dili to Baucau, one would need to either drive by personal vehicle or catch public transportation (Dili to Los Palos bus) on the main road from Dili to Baucau district. The GoogleMap landmark image of the "Aeroporto de Baucau"/ Baucau Airport is most likely the closest image to follow if you are on the main road from Dili to Baucau. After you have passed through the village of Bucoli, and before  you reach the actual city of Baucau, there will be a road on the right-hand side of the main road between Dili and Baucau. That road to the right will take you into Triloka village. Look for the CDC agricultural center (bright-green gates and surrounding agricultural land) on the left-hand side of the main road from Dili to Baucau. The road to Triloka is directly across from the CDC center. Follow the Triloka road up, make a slight right turn after the soccer fields that are on the left side of the Triloka road, and continue to follow the Triloka road up the hill until you reach the point where the road turns sharply to the right. The white clinic buildings will be directly in-front of you, just before the right turn. You have reached the Lafaek Diak Clinic! Welcome!

Maternity Clinic and Laboratory Location

If you are taking the main road from Dili to Baucau, after you have passed through the village of Bucoli, but before you have reached the city of Baucau, you will see the CDC Agricultural School on the left-hand side of the road (bright-green gates and agricultural land surrounding). Just after you have passed the CDC Agricultural School that is on your left, on the same left-hand side of the road you will see a white sign that says “Lafaek Diak Maternity Clinic" with a dirt road beside the sign. Turn off the main road to the left down this dirt road, and travel down this dirt road approximately 1 km/ 0.5miles. You will then turn left into the maternity clinic and laboratory complex. Within the complex there are four main buildings, surrounded by agricultural land where fruit trees are planted. The agricultural training center is the gated building on the furthest left after driving into the complex, the agricultural education center is the open air theatre just to the left after driving into the complex, the maternity clinic is the white building to the right in the complex, and the laboratory is the white building with the blue roof just behind the maternity clinic.
